Edmonds Vision Center uses digital photography to help detect and manage diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive (high blood pressure) retinopathy, plaquenil and other high risk medication side effects, and document suspicious 'spots' on the front and back of eye. Drs. Wong and Solum are primary care providers for the eye. If you have a 'pink eye' or infection, a sudden change in vision, or an eye injury, call our office for an immediate appointment. Drs. Wong and Solum diagnose and treat all kinds of eye conditions. One of the more common problems we see in our practice is Dry Eye Syndrome. It affects all ages, although contact lens wearers and post-menopausal women are the most affected, but is amenable to a variety of treatments. The most basic treatment is lubrication, but sometimes oral and/or topical prescription medicine, oral supplements, or punctal plugs are required to alleviate the most severe symptoms. Schedule an appointment for a dry eye evaluation if you are not tolerating your contact lenses, or if you have red, irritated and watery eyes. We can help you see and feel better.
